CIBOLO CREEK RANCH The 25,000 acre Cibolo Creek Ranch is nestled in a valley in the remote Chinati Mountains near the ghost town of Shafter, Texas. Starkly beautiful mountainous landscape surrounds the complex that houses the original three fort buildings now used for guest quarters. Fresh produce from their garden with fruits from the orchard are included in the gourmet fare that is offered in the three meals with accommodations. Guests can hike, swim in a heated pool, ride horseback, go four-wheeling, photograph wildlife or just kick back and relax.
